A Changer Change

A change we need
A change I believe in
A change starting with me
A change starting with you
A change capable of changing the old rules
That change will modify
Our messed up world
If we believe in it
And start acting
On the little we can afford
To impact in it
That change is
Our real chance to grow,
That change is
Our quest to right all wrongs,
That change is
Our ability to stand united
And face our problems
That change is our opportunity
To prove critics wrong
That change is our legendary
For unborn generations
That change is us
Together we’ll better our world
Together we can,

Change

Many says, I want change
Want change in my time
Want change in my life
I want a change badly
I want change, many say


They pray for a change
They wish for a change
They look for a change
But they will not change
They just wait for change


It never happens to them
It will never ever happen
By mere prayer or wish
It must start from inside
With tons of determination


Change is not so easy
It takes lots of time
So it needs determination
The will to make change
The will to see change


Then only things will change
Then only time will change
Then only life will change
So go and get change
To see the bliss of change

Ethan Allen

Ethan Allen (January 21, 1738  – February 12, 1789) was a farmer, businessman, land speculator, philosopher, writer, and American Revolutionary War patriot, hero, and politician. He is best known as one of the founders of the U.S. state of Vermont, and for thecapture of Fort Ticonderoga early in the American Revolutionary War.

Born in rural Connecticut, Allen had a frontier upbringing but also received an education that included some philosophical teachings. In the late 1760s he became interested in the New Hampshire Grants, buying land there and becoming embroiled in the legal disputes surrounding the territory. Legal setbacks led to the formation of theGreen Mountain Boys, whom Allen led in a campaign of intimidation and property destruction to drive New York settlers from the Grants. When the American Revolutionary War broke out, Allen and the Boys seized the initiative and captured Fort Ticonderoga in May 1775. In September 1775 Allen led a failed attempt on Montreal that resulted in his capture by British authorities. First imprisoned aboard Royal Navy ships, he was paroled in New York City, and finally released in a prisoner exchange in 1778.

A change of friends you never win
a change of schools, begin again
A change of age, a change of space
A change of morals, A change of rules
A change of sails, blowing you into the unknown
